Interior designer Suzanne Kasler, named one of the top 100 designers by House Beautiful, recently published her first book in October 2009, Suzanne Kasler: Inspired Interiors, showcasing her classic, elegant designs. Wonderfully, her technique allows rooms to be magnificent without looking overly decorated. The results simply are rooms designed by someone with extremely good taste and an eye for balance and symmetry. She also has a knack for designing rooms in a wide variety of styles.
There is an extensive and useful resource guide listing her favorite shops and companies at the back of the book, many of which are located in Atlanta, as is Ms. Kasler's interior design studio (www.suzannekasler.com). Not only did she decorate the rooms, she also designed much of the furniture pictured in Inspired Interiors. The Suzanne Kasler Furniture Collection is available at Hickory Chair (www.hickorychair.com).
